Carson's Mission July 2022-July 2024 Côte d'Ivoire Abidjan West Mission

Monday this week was awesome. we had a joint mission (abidjan east and abidjan west) zone conference because Elder Godoy of the Presidency of the Seventy came and spoke to us! It was awesome and he spoke really well. The sound system went pretty well also. There were many beautiful testimonies and it was a blessing to be able to be there. After it ended and we were all feeling edified, everyone left because it was still a normal work day. Except for the Leaders of the Mission because they had MLC (mission leadership council). They got fed and us the office elders got to stay because we were still going to use the sound system during this council. so that meant i got to stay and basically get taught way more awesome stuff! now the reason i bring this up is because i was up on stage for the sound system. everyone else was below and Elder Godoy was speaking through the mic on the stage. So he needed translation from french to english... guess who he asked??? ME. WHAT. oh how scared i was....

What's up you lovely people, I love you all! So so so so so much! anyways allons-y! Monday we had a district activity which was pretty cool, we had ice cream and cake, sung happy birthday to two sisters, and our zone leader tried to tell us we couldnt call our family on p days because we could only do it on special occasions??? haha whatever, he's wrong, i called my family today suck it! (no shade on ZL he just likes to make rules up ahha) That was lit though. it was more funny than lit because of all the bete stuff that was happening (bete: stupid) dont worry i love my district! Monday night was spent preparing for the following days ZC with Elder Klebingat (general authority) Tuesday was inspired. He spoke so so so well guys. That guy is filled to the brim of wisdom and i was edified. Everything with the sound system went pretty well, all the kinks were figured out pretty quick. overall it went great! Hey everyone, Nothing crazy happened this week, and i don't really feel like writing an email so this one is gonna be shorter, i didnt wanna write this week at all but my family flammed me and said i need to write so hear i am,shoutout family for keeping my emails alive! so this week was good, the apartment is probably the cleanest it's ever been so that's been good. Me and reshetar started playing this miniature settlers of catan game he bought at nights when we get home, it's been fun and a nice distraction from all the office and phone problems a lot of problems came up this week that i literally can't fix so that's been kinda annoying. Stuff that the church doesn't even have a response to, or stuff that has to do with out service provider and not me. Not the end of the world. just kinda annoying. i had a pretty bad headache this week but then one of the senior couples got me some advil and another senior couple got me some food. Hey everyone this week was so so so busy. Busiest week of the mission. It was good though. This was transfer week so very busy One more time, i was busy! At the start of this week (sunday) we went to church. we went to our church and another church because they didn't have the priesthood authority necessary. it was good. it was kinda exhausting but good. we said goodbye to some ward members because that was mccurdys last day but it was good. that night we drove mccurdy to cocody because they had the dinner for all the departing missionaries at presidents house. then we stayed at the office and did some work until they came back. we were working for so long cause they never came back i swear! we got there at 3 to weigh bags and crap and then they finally left at like 5:00 and then no one came back until like 9:00 then we finally got on the road with all the leaving missionaries and headed home. It was tiring but good and lots of fun next day we sent all the missionaries out back...
