Image
Salut! Bienvenue! This week was crazy but it was awesome. I have a lot to say. Lets get into it. So first missionary work here is gonna be a little weird for the next 3-6 months. We are almost completely out of Book of Mormon and Retablissement Brochures. Which is difficult because we hand so many of those out. Our missionary approach is gonna have to change a little bit but it's gonna be interesting. Next for the title. Cafards is Cockroach in french. We were at our friends house, Nader, who is white and can speak english. It's so weird talking to him it makes me feel like im not in africa but it's so lit. Anyways we're at his house. Then him and his friends see one of the many cockroaches here and africa and they start yelling CAFARDS CHINOIS. Ill let yall look up what chinois is but basically thats what they call all the tiny cockroaches.  Now we call them cafards chinois also. I started spending a lot of money and i have a really bad feeling its not gonna slow dow...

Transfer Weekkkk,  also lots of other stuff lets get into it.  So I think I mentioned Maman Ake's fear of water in the last email, well incase i didnt, she is scared of water and it's making baptism a bit difficult. Well our recent Champ Soeur Comfort if yall remember got baptised i wanna say last month. She's awesome and she's a great member. We asked her if she could come to maman akes and just explain why it's not that bad. That was an AWESOME meeting, think about this You know when like your two favorite artists collab and make an absolute banger of a song. It was like that, two people who never met came together and made greatness.  It was so so so funny everything they were doing was making us laugh pretty hard, maman ake kept acting like she was getting baptised and absolutely thrown into the water. It was super funny.  We had an exchange ish this week. Not much of an exchange but more just the fact that my companion went to MLC for the morning so i was...

Prayer for Spiderman (Week #17)

What's up Everyone! Happy Halloween to you all. Halloween over here in Africa is a total rager, so don't get to jealous. I'm dressing up as "Le Blanc" for halloween this year, I thought it would be creative, you can tell me how you feel about that.  First thing was every week we have a goal to meet and teach, 7 new people, so we should be having 7 first lessons a week, we usually hit about 4-5 but this week we knocked it out of the water with 11 new people. We think with those 11 about 5-6 might wanna keep talking with us so that's cool. Next, our amie, Maman Ake, who was on date for baptism in a couple weeks, came to a collective baptism, which was insane. There were probably like 20 people there because it was a 2 zone combined thing. there were tons of baptisms and the room was filled to the brim with people, missionaries couldnt even sit in there. Maman Ake got to watch and seeing that many people being dunked in water, and the one girl struggling a few ti...
