Hey guysssss I love you allll. Welcome to the emaillll This week was pretty crazy not gonna lie. Tuesday we had district council and we turn UP at district council. We were gonna start singing a hymn to start.... one of the elders pulls out drums.. whaaa! It was super fun we got hype Wednesday we had exchanges. It was good as well. I was with Elder Kisangala. He's congolais, he's a beast. We were contacting in the morning and we got some good contacts, and then he saw some jehovahs witnesses and said, yooo they're cruising for a bruising let's go start a heated conversation (best French to English translation ever imo) so we went and talked to them. It was awesome at first we were learning a lot, and then my comp started heating it up. I was trying to bring it back and then my comp brought up songs of Solomon 😭😭 it was finished. We spent an hour there haha. Anyways we finished it off with ice cream, pain chien (dog bread) (don't worry not actually dog) (I think)...

This week was good in a lot of categories and mid in a lot of other categories The Good: My companions a DAWG who looooooves to work hard. We're grinding it out which is good.. the area needs it. I live right next to a bon prix with monsters.... no way A handyman came and installed AC this week!!! I have water almost always?!??! They have lots of food options here which is awesome I've seen a few members from my very first area which was awesomeeee. They all said stuff about how I can finally speak French 💀 thanks guys. I have a lot of mission buddies that have spent some good time in this area so It's fun talking about them to the members here. We've had some good lessons using the book of Mormon! Hey everyone! This will be quick.. sorry! OH MY GOSH IM LIVING SOME SORT OF MAIN CHARACTER LIFE IM NOT QUALIFIED FOR Côte d'Ivoire actually won?... comment ça?! I mean I'm not gonna act like I didn't have faith. I was their number one supporter! (Videos in my Google photos for proof) I think I probably repeated these simple phrases more than 1000 times "La CAN(African cup of nations) est chez nous ooo!" (Basically saying the African cup of nations is staying here.. implying we'll win) & "On va gagner OU BIEN" (basically saying "we're gonna win or am I right") Obviously there was other stuff I said but those were the go to. I started saying that stuff instead of bonjour and bonsoir (good morning & good evening). I was getting so turnt up and in turn helping the people here get turnt up. Lots of dancing and celebrating. What's up! There's a few big things that happened I want to talk about so let's get straight into it. 1) LA CAN Oh my gosh! Côte d'Ivoire is getting super far in the African cup! Playoffs were this past week. We played Sénégal and no one expected Côte d'Ivoire to win. Sénégal was one of the most dominant teams in the cup! However Côte d'Ivoire won in PENALTIES at the very END! THE ENTIRE CITY WENT CRAZY! This allowed them to move on to the next game versus Mali. At the 40th Minute, Côte d'Ivoire got a red card and had to play a man down. Going into second half the score was 1-0. Côte d'Ivoire was losing. In the 90TH MINUTE. Côte d'Ivoire had a craaaaaazy goal! Which sent then to overtime or prolongation. Which is two 15 minute halfs that go until 120 minutes. In the 120th (+1) minute... CÔTE D'IVOIRE SCORED AGAIN.
