I miss Taco Bell (Week #85)

Hey everyone! I wonder what percentage of my emails I've started with hey everyone. Lemme know. This week was good in a lot of categories and mid in a lot of other categories The Good: My companions a DAWG who looooooves to work hard. We're grinding it out which is good.. the area needs it. I live right next to a bon prix with monsters.... no way A handyman came and installed AC this week!!! I have water almost always?!??! They have lots of food options here which is awesome I've seen a few members from my very first area which was awesomeeee. They all said stuff about how I can finally speak French 💀 thanks guys. I have a lot of mission buddies that have spent some good time in this area so It's fun talking about them to the members here. We've had some good lessons using the book of Mormon! Can't wait to see what that brings My district is gas District leader choco Elder Beck Elder Lee & Elder Barber Elder Lamoreaux & Elder Young Elder Kisangala, then me and my comp. No sisters, we got a brostrict haha Also the zone in general even outside of the district is just full of good workers. We're excited! I love this zone! My studies have been getting a LOTTT better. Starting to hit a good rythmn. I've been studying pretty consistently for a while but I just feel like I haven't been that efficient. I don't know what changed, I got AC haha maybe thats why. 😅 regardless I've been looking forward to and starting my studies as soon as possible. It's been refreshing! The Hard: Said some goodbyes the beginning of this week. Wasn't as hard as it usually is to leave an area but there were certain families I will miss soooo much. I really do love the people there and I grew to love that area! This area is hugeeeee. It takes up soon much of our stake. I forgot exactly what the stake president said but we have 8 wards and our area takes up like 60-70% of allll the stake. They recently cut it down a little (hallelujah) but we haven't known our area boundaries for a while. We just figured them out today! The area is kinda restarting which sucks as well. I feel like I've been reviving areas since I left the office and it's getting tiring haha. Right when you get it up and moving well president sends ya straight to a new area where no rendez-vous are happening 😭 kinda just feels like I get to reap the rewards of hard work for a couple weeks and then boom restart but hey, I always grow to love it so I'm excited for the future, we're just in the struggle phase rn haha. I miss taco Bell 😫 The zone in general is kind of hard. Work just isn't the easiest in this area but we recieved a lot of new missionnaires and I'm excited to see what we can do! Anyways c'est un peu ça! That's the update! Also we went to the office today for an MLC activity! It was awesome. We ate some pancakes and more importantly learned about the priesthood. Highlight was definitely seeing all my homies tho. I've made some serious friends here in the mission that I can't wait to "actually" be able to spend time with after the mission and do fun stuff together. Shout out you guys! Winner of the week:Elder Jacobs. He made pancakes! And they were doux! Alsoooooo he's the cutest secretary EVER! OK enjoy some photos love you all!

Sept 20 2023 This is how we communicate on days that aren't Carson's Pday (individual questions answered by emojis): Sept 22: C: I can call if u want today Me: Still sick? 😩 What time? My lunch is at 10:30 My day is pretty psycho before that time but if it needs to be before that we can make it work! C: That works I think I'm leaving the hospital this evening But I’m not sure *(We found out he went to the hospital Wednesday afternoon the day we did questions and emojis) Me: Shoot! You’ve been so sick for so long C: Yeah I've had an on and off fever for 2 weeks now Me: Wanna tell me what you have? Or are you loving the suspense? C: Then I had covid like 3-4 weeks ago IDK what I have… Me: They don’t know huh? High fevers. C: They said that when there's constant on and off fevers like this that means there's a problem. RM's got me in shambles (Week #97)

Hey hey hey. Welcome back! This week was cool! I worked with my new comp elder Gibson. He's a dawg. He eats sooo much which is good. It's helping me eat more!! Maybe I'll gain some pounds I already lost. I've been working out pretty much almost every day which has been awesome. Crazy that I feel like there's actually some progress even tho I'm pretty much only doing push ups. Started my plan this week... iykyk We had stake conference which was really good. Valerie and her son came!! Big things coming for them. President and Sister Litchfield dropped bars. We were happy! We'll be doing lots of exchanges this transfer. We're planning on working harddd. We set some big goals for ourselves and our zone. We'll see what we can accomplish!
