Image
Hey everyone! I hope you're doing well!! I love you all soooooo muchhh bisous bisous This week was honestly pretty lame for reasons I don't wanna really explain but it's OK. 1 Peter 4:13-16 Anyways haha I had two exchanges this week! That was awesomeee! We had such a great time and got to work sooo hard! I love exchanges so much now because they allow me to really push myself. Sadly I don't have anymore exchanges in my area. We have 4 more and im leaving for all of them but it's okay. Both days we had SOOO much fun and the spirit was definitely there. One day we had 7 appointments which felt like a huge success to get them all done. I learned a lot and the spirit helped some of our amis progress that weren't before. Also because of the exchanges I got to spend the night with Elder Lee and Elder Nobmann! Shout-out to the boys. I've been struggling a little bit finding the same joy I was feeling before. I felt like when I left the office and got back to m...

Hype Zone Conference! (Week #81)

Image
Hey sorry everyone no time. I had a lot of extra things we had to do today so sadly we didn't have much time to talk with friends or write an email! Again! I apologize! One thing I will say is that we had a really really awesome Zone Conference. It was really inspired and im grateful for the leaders we have. There's always one thing that stands out to me above all the rest. This week it was a scripture president shared. D&C 122:7 It talked about our trials being for our own good and them giving us experience. If we start to traverse trials we can smile knowing that were able to feel a tiny tiny piece of the infinite Atonement. Jesus went through all and if we are persecuted for his sake or rejected for his sake then all of our trials shall be for well being. We will be uplifted and exalted through our trials. It was a great scripture that was shared at a great time! I know God loves us all and I'm grateful for Him and all of you! Enjoy some pics!

Hey! This can't be long today. Sorry! This week was good! Quick edition was Monday:p day Tuesday:district council Wednesday:exchange 1 Thursday:exchange 2 Friday:weekly planning Saturday: La Coupe D'Afrique (the African cup) Ok time for a little bit of details Tuesday we had a good district Council with only a lillll bit of chastising. We had a good day. Got some good food, and I bought 2k worth of menthe au lait (I hope I spelled that right) it's like minty frozen milkshake stuff. Elder Hendrickson 🦧 compared it to the shamrock shake at del taco if you know that. Wednesday we had an exchange. I worked with Elder Matthews. He's a pretty new missionary but he's a great guy with great intentions. His French is pretty good too. We worked hard. We were aiming for a lot of lessons with member help but we also without even trying got 4 good new friends that day. Definitely a tender mercy. All in all it was a good day Thursday we had another exchange, I was with Elde...

Elevator + Unstable Electricity = Problems (Week #79)

Image
Hey everyone. I thought I should start with an equation cause you know.. I'm a numbers guy (iykyk) Welcome back to another email. I'm not gonna go unto a lot of random emails but there's some funny stories I wanted to share!! 1. Cooking! My new companion does not like eating in sector or eating at members homes. He just says that he never does it. So we (him) have been cooking more often recently. It inspired me to start cooking, I made potatos with some sauce and it was actually so good. Problem was, while cooking I burnt myself sooo bad haha. I knew I shouldn't of started cooking again. My entire pointer finger below my nail was blistered up. I already got the juice out but I have a pic of it a couple days later haha. 2. Elevator + Unstable Electricty Ok so you've all heard about the elevator we have by now.. sorry I talk about it to much. Anyways, we left the apartment a little late one afternoon. Usually we're supposed to leave at 2, It was around 2:25...

I don't think I'm still living in Africa... (Week #78)

Image
Hey everyoneeee. Welcome to the weekly email. I'm losing motivation week by week to write these. I hope they're still fun like they were in the beginning. I guess we can start by talking about my exchanges. I had two this week which really fun. One was with my dear dear past companion Elder Ojo. He's the best I love him so much. We had lots of fun. We bought these new sunglasses that go craaaazyyy. Like fr you put those things on and it's straight night. We walked into a building with those things on and we were straight blind 👨‍🦯 they're actually wild. Also some crazy stuff that's become normal -everyone dances sooo inappropriately, like even 4 year Olds. I saw a 4 year old hanging upside down on a guys back twirking her life out. It was crazy -Lizards are EVERYWHERE and they love love love doing Pushups, can't go into much more detail than that - during the celebration everyone will come to you saying: "bonne année" (happy new years) but ...

Hey everyone! I hope you're all doing well This email won't be long but it'll be awesome anyways!! Wednesday I had an exchange with Elder Lee. It was really really and we worked really hard. Had an efficient morning and contacted a lot. We ate Garba in sector it was sooo tasty We also visited our new apartment. It's awesome. We should be in within the week. There's lots of room, lots of space. Also we were told we were on the 5th floor and we were so sad hahaha. But then we figured out that we have an elevator!! So hype fr. Also today we went to Cosmos (a big mall here) and on the way our taxi driver didn't have Christmas music so I pulled out my speaker and turned some on. It was so crazy listening to Christmas music just vibin through the streets of Abidjan it was so fun. Video on Google photos This week I wanted to mainly focus on Christ, because ya know.. Christmas. I just wanted to say that I am so so grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ. I also would...
