Carson's Mission July 2022-July 2024 Côte d'Ivoire Abidjan West Mission

Hello everyone! what's up! this week was transfer week! I recieved the news that i would be training! In mission culture if you're training, that means they're your son, but in this situation, he's been on the mission a lot longer than me, and he's almost finished, so he's like half my son half my father. dont really know, don't really care. Training is going super well and i love the opportunities i have to help this mission advance and find spiritual moments along the journey this week we picked up senegal elders and that was fun, but at the airport I saw a young man from guinea. i went and talked to him and he was so so humble and so kind. the man had a certain light about him i wanted to uncover. I started talking to this guy and he has family in Cote d'ivoire so he spends a lot of time here and a lot of time in guinea. after a lot of good conversation, i asked if he's ever seen other people like us, he said yes actually, he has. and he used to...

Hello all you lovely people! you guys are the best! gotta be quick today, literally just remembered emails exist Newly announced our mission will now have 2 phones per companionship, before it was just one, so guess who got to set them all up hahaha. ME! I literally took an energy drink and then just sat down laser focused for like 6 hours straight and set up all of these phones. screen protectors cases chargers then downloading stuff on the phone. it was kinda fun but super tiring had district council and tanner brought cake and watermelon, it was lit had zone conferences, i went to both because ya know, dj ducker. and thats where they announced two phones per companionship.. that was lit. got to see tons of homies shoutout to the homies (you know who you are) ate at this place called chicken nation, which is awesome. they had a hype man literally just meant to hype people up, he was dressed in a suit and would just start opera singing out of the blue, the man is a legend for...

hello everyone! welcome to the email! this week i hit my year mark! it's nothing crazy but i have some small things i'd like to share about that! and obviously i'll talk about my week. allons-y! ok this week was cool, we had fourth of july and we ate a burger it was cool. there was a MLC this week so i got to see tons of amazing missionaries in this mission, always a highlight sister christensen came back from the U.S. and brought some goodies with her. she brought some stuff my mom gave her, then 2 bags of takis, and Jesus the Christ! super awesome!
