LA CAN EST CHEZ NOUS 馃悩馃敤馃専馃専馃専(Week #84)

Hey everyone! This will be quick.. sorry! OH MY GOSH IM LIVING SOME SORT OF MAIN CHARACTER LIFE IM NOT QUALIFIED FOR C么te d'Ivoire actually won?... comment 莽a?! I mean I'm not gonna act like I didn't have faith. I was their number one supporter! (Videos in my Google photos for proof) I think I probably repeated these simple phrases more than 1000 times "La CAN(African cup of nations) est chez nous ooo!" (Basically saying the African cup of nations is staying here.. implying we'll win) & "On va gagner OU BIEN" (basically saying "we're gonna win or am I right") Obviously there was other stuff I said but those were the go to. I started saying that stuff instead of bonjour and bonsoir (good morning & good evening). I was getting so turnt up and in turn helping the people here get turnt up. Lots of dancing and celebrating. When C么te d'Ivoire beat Congo (yako my congolais friends) everyone was going craaaazy, and then we won in the FINALS to NIGERIA (sorry my nigerian bruddas) THIS PLACE BLEW UPPPP. We went to a members house this evening and they had the news on. The entire main road in koumassi (a big city here) was filled to the BRIM of pedestrians partying. Like no road in sight. This road is like the equivilant of a freeway here 馃槶 imagine I15 was blocked off for miles filled with pedestrians. Point is... it's wild here. Such a beautiful amazing opportunity to be here in this country when Ivory Coast is the country out of allll the African countries hosting the African cup and to add on to that... WE WON?!! THATS SO CRAZY. We were the underdogs! We lost 4-0! Our chances of being qualified were close to 0! And then we were resurrected... Now here comes some missionary knowledge, when Jesus was killed, He was resurrected right?? Now once He was resurrected did He die again?!?!? JAMAIS (NEVER!) Just like the ivory coast, we died, we were resurrected, and we came back!! Now instead of 2 stars on my jerseys we'll have 3! (Representing the amount of wins ivory coast has) Sorry.. I'll stop talking about the games ahhaa just thought it was something interesting you'd love to hear Missionary Work! I had an exchange with Elder Nobmann this week (fire) We worked our butts off. Didn't find a lot of success in the morning so decided to eat lunch in sector a little early so we could grind out area for like 7-8 hours straight. Definitely worth it. We had I think 8 rendez-vous that day.. maybe 7. All of them with members participating and supporting us. We also put someone on date for baptism! Such a great day and it felt good to work hard! He's a beast and it'll be sad to lose him in the district but we'll still see each other often!(iykyk) Transfer News! I'm leaving! I'm getting out of Toit Rouge and going back to my Zone de naissance! (Starting Area) Niangon Centre! I was there for my first 6 months and I love love love that zone. Such a blessing to have been able to be there, and now again such a blessing to be able to go back. Still going at it as ZL but now I'm with Elder Odenusi, a Nigerian! (Yako pour la can) he's a beast, I've heard he works crazy hard and I'm so so ready to just griiiiiind out missionary work. Also my district is goated as crap, quick Shout-out, Beck, Lamoreaux, Lee, and all the other homies in the district, we finna get lit I'm gonna miss toit rouge!... a little! It was a good zone, I learned a LOT. But it's time to go. Moving me was definitely the right choice. I can't wait for what the Lord has in store for me! I'll probably (probably) probably finish my mission in niangon centre (my first zone). That's kinda awesome huh! Finish were I started... full circle kinda thing! We'll see! I said this would be quick 馃拃 Last thing, the ami that we put on baptism didn't show up, we we're tellement sad, but that my brother called us like 5 minutes before the sacrament and was like my brudda, I had battery issues, come find me ou bien. So we found him and he came! He enjoyed and said he'd be back! Sept 20 2023 This is how we communicate on days that aren't Carson's Pday (individual questions answered by emojis): Sept 22: C: I can call if u want today Me: Still sick? 馃槱 What time? My lunch is at 10:30 My day is pretty psycho before that time but if it needs to be before that we can make it work! C: That works I think I'm leaving the hospital this evening But I’m not sure *(We found out he went to the hospital Wednesday afternoon the day we did questions and emojis) Me: Shoot! You’ve been so sick for so long C: Yeah I've had an on and off fever for 2 weeks now Me: Wanna tell me what you have? Or are you loving the suspense? C: Then I had covid like 3-4 weeks ago IDK what I have… Me: They don’t know huh? High fevers. C: They said that when there's constant on and off fevers like this that means there's a problem. RM's got me in shambles (Week #97)

Hey hey hey. Welcome back! This week was cool! I worked with my new comp elder Gibson. He's a dawg. He eats sooo much which is good. It's helping me eat more!! Maybe I'll gain some pounds I already lost. I've been working out pretty much almost every day which has been awesome. Crazy that I feel like there's actually some progress even tho I'm pretty much only doing push ups. Started my plan this week... iykyk We had stake conference which was really good. Valerie and her son came!! Big things coming for them. President and Sister Litchfield dropped bars. We were happy! We'll be doing lots of exchanges this transfer. We're planning on working harddd. We set some big goals for ourselves and our zone. We'll see what we can accomplish!
