Tis' the Season to be Transferred (Week #18)

 Transfer Weekkkk,  also lots of other stuff lets get into it. 


So I think I mentioned Maman Ake's fear of water in the last email, well incase i didnt, she is scared of water and it's making baptism a bit difficult. Well our recent Champ Soeur Comfort if yall remember got baptised i wanna say last month. She's awesome and she's a great member. We asked her if she could come to maman akes and just explain why it's not that bad. That was an AWESOME meeting, think about this
You know when like your two favorite artists collab and make an absolute banger of a song. It was like that, two people who never met came together and made greatness. 
It was so so so funny everything they were doing was making us laugh pretty hard, maman ake kept acting like she was getting baptised and absolutely thrown into the water. It was super funny. 

We had an exchange ish this week. Not much of an exchange but more just the fact that my companion went to MLC for the morning so i was put with the OTHER district leaders companion, in this situation, companions because they were in a trio. 
It was Elder Hopkinson and Elder *insert difficult name i totally forgot here* it was super fun and i really like the area. I did the most teaching I ever have and learned a lot. also i taught the elder with a difficult name "That's Lit" in english and i heard that probably 100+ times after i taught him. It was hilarious.  

The SALSA. we were walking to our appointment in a trio and me and elder hopkinson both just looked at each other and stopped and said, "bro i swear i smell salsa". We really wanted to stop by and look and buy some cause man that smelled good but sadly we were in a rush for a lesson. We then went taught and on the way back we had to stop there. Suddenly the smell of salsa was completely gone and we even went in and got a menu and could not find anything like salsa. It was very tragic. I miss salsa. 

With the food theme ill keep it going. We celebrated a successful transfer together by going to the picasso place in our sector. I heard it was good so we just went over. Best food ive ever had, at least in africa. Pizza, so good cheezy wow. Chicken on it. delicious. Also, super good ice cream after. I will now be going there as often as possible. When i thought of serving in africa i didnt think id be having pizza and ice cream but hey im not compaining

TESSA this part is for you. I know you dont read my emails all the time but when you do one day or someone shows you, we have a friend names JUNIOR, he is 16, and he was going through our photos and saw you in your halloween costume and his jaw hit the floor. He asked me who it was i said it was my sister and i think his jaw hit the floor again. then he asked how old you were and i said 13, which i hope is right, and his jaw hit the floor AGAIN. he asked for your email. I gave it hahahaha. Have fun i hope he emails you. He's a funny guy. he's weird but that was funny. 

Transfer News! ok so for this transfer i am.... not telling you yet hahaha anticipation oooooo. But i got another haircut! Luckily this time it wasnt horrible, and elder miller actually did it with the new razor he bought. looks pretty good in my opinion however im still tryna grow my hair out cause the last guy botched it. 

This deserves a paragraph of its own. AC has officially been ordered in and it's been approved for us. AC in bound!

We got an awesome girl on baptism date. She loves the church and im so excited for her. woohooo!

Ok transfer news AGAIN! I am.... Staying and leading in my area! woohooo hallelujah i love my area so much the people here are THE BEST and the area itself is so cool. Elder Miller is leaving to Micao 1 a little bit away from here and my new companion is Elder Earl, He's a really hard worker and he's been out for a while, his french is good and he's an american also. I'm super excited to get to hustle up this transfer and really do some big time work here. 

Also Maman Ake said im growing I pray she's right but I don't have faith. I'll Pray for faith.

Sept 20 2023 This is how we communicate on days that aren't Carson's Pday (individual questions answered by emojis): Sept 22: C: I can call if u want today Me: Still sick? 😩 What time? My lunch is at 10:30 My day is pretty psycho before that time but if it needs to be before that we can make it work! C: That works I think I'm leaving the hospital this evening But I’m not sure *(We found out he went to the hospital Wednesday afternoon the day we did questions and emojis) Me: Shoot! You’ve been so sick for so long C: Yeah I've had an on and off fever for 2 weeks now Me: Wanna tell me what you have? Or are you loving the suspense? C: Then I had covid like 3-4 weeks ago IDK what I have… Me: They don’t know huh? High fevers. C: They said that when there's constant on and off fevers like this that means there's a problem. RM's got me in shambles (Week #97)

Hey hey hey. Welcome back! This week was cool! I worked with my new comp elder Gibson. He's a dawg. He eats sooo much which is good. It's helping me eat more!! Maybe I'll gain some pounds I already lost. I've been working out pretty much almost every day which has been awesome. Crazy that I feel like there's actually some progress even tho I'm pretty much only doing push ups. Started my plan this week... iykyk We had stake conference which was really good. Valerie and her son came!! Big things coming for them. President and Sister Litchfield dropped bars. We were happy! We'll be doing lots of exchanges this transfer. We're planning on working harddd. We set some big goals for ourselves and our zone. We'll see what we can accomplish!
