Learning how to Chef it up (Week #93)
Hey Everyone! I hope you're doing well. I love you all and I hope you're excited to read a little bit of my email!
To be honest I don't got a whole lot to say. I'll kinda go day to day and see what comes up. Allons-y!
Monday.
So after I sent my email on Monday we went out to the area and started teaching. Our appointments fell through so we asked one of our friends if they knew anyone who would be interested in the gospel. Immediately she said yes and helped us find this guy named Yann.
He's so awesome. He is really interested and wants to learn more about the church. Infact he said he's been searching himself for a church to join and this was kinda an answer to his prayers! We ended up talking for a while. We were also with one of our new converts who loves the church. Anyway, he brought up baptism and I could tell he was interested. We read a passage in mosiah in the Book of Mormon that helped him understand baptism. He said well that's the desire of my heart! And then we read the next verse that said something along the lines of how it was also the desire of their heart. It was a cool experience because he was feeling the same feelings as those in the scriptures. He said he wanted to be baptised so we put him on date! He came to church on Sunday and loved it! We're hoping that'll continue like that!
