Oh no, not again... (Week #74)

Salut! J'espère que vous allez tous bien! Je vous aime beaucoup! Aussi pardonnez-moi! Je n'ai pas beaucoup à dire cette semaine. Quand-même allons-y. Ok so this week had a pretty decent start. The work was starting to pick up quick. We had good lessons with members participating on Tuesday. Some lessons were good others not do much. For example. We had one where the girl just kept laughing and she couldn't retain like one thing we said. Yako. But we had another where this mom said she knew our church was true and considers herself a member! Sadly she said she already made a commitment to the catholic church and her husband. But then st the perfect timing her husband came. He's the key! If we can help him understand the church is true then the wife will easily follow along with him. Also that night I bought food for the apartment. I thought it would be about 3500. We got chicken and attièke. At Niangon 5 it cost like 1800 or something for a full chicken and his sauce so I was chilling with that. But nah. It was 3500 PER CHICKEN Wha! We got 2 and I was forced to pay 7000. It was not juiced. Not at all. It was very tasty tho ahha Then Wednesday haha This is where it picks up So Wednesday morning we had an exchange. I worked with Elder Lamoreaux! We had a good lessons, had a member participate, and it went really really smoothly! Overall great! Then we went back because my companion wasn't feeling good. Well we went to the hospital At the hospital they took his temp and he had a fever. And then we I waited while he got some other tests. I was sitting in one room and it was a very mainflow room with tons of people. They were playing John wick 4! I thought it was so crazy . I mean there's little kids watching it and it was gory as crap! I mean ngl I enjoyed the little bit I watched but I was still shocked Then after he left the room they told us we had to wait until 6 for his results. It was 2!! What was i supposed to do for the next 4 hours lol. We found a SUPER over priced restaurant in the hospital and we got hot dogs ahha it was good but really I was just tryna waste time. We also got ice cream just wasting the time Then 6 came anddddd he had Covid! Oh my gosh. How is this thing still effecting my life here in Africa lol. Multiple times too!! The doctor was joking with us a lot. He told us if anyone is being rude to us just cough on them. Anyways this is where it slows down a lottt Wednesday night Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday And now Monday stuck in the apartment!! He tested negative tho on Sunday were just tryna ease him in. We're going back to work tomorrow hoping his health is good enough! Saturday my boys were messing with me I was getting kinda pressed. I texted the other guys in the apartment and I was like hey my comps still sick we can't leave but like I'm super hungry! Can you get me some paninis while you're out? I'll pay you back. They say yeah, and then they just come with food for everyone but me! And I was like what you didn't get any food for me? And they were like nahhh the panini mama wasn't there. I was kinda pressed they didnt even contact me to tell me there wasn't any so I could eat. I was pretty dang hungry ahhaa. But it was a good experience, I only got a little mad then God helped me practice patience a lot. I practiced a lottt of patience but all experiences are learning experiences ou bien. Anyways that's all! Next week will be more interesting hahah I'll send pics! I love you all Winner of the Week: God! I got to spend a lot of time this week thinking of how blessed I am to be a missionary. Also lots of time studying. I'm very very grateful for God and this opportunity he gave me!! Thank you God! <3
