God Perfects our Imperfections (Week #73)

Hey Everyone! This week was pretty cool! I still miss Micao a little but I'll totally grow to love this area soon! It's a pretty area with lots of potential. Not gonna lie the area is kinda dead right now. No one is really progressing and we've ran into a couple other difficulties. We've been working with the ward a lot this week and I think they'll start helping a ton soon! That will definitely boost missionary work. The area is beautiful tho. It's really big and the apartments kinda far from where we actually work but we'll be moving soon which is nice. Our apartment right now is SUCH garbage oh my ahha. No water ever. Like ever. And all of our reserves are out. Which means no clean dishes. Dirty kitchen which doesn't help in an already cockroach full apartment. Luckily a handyman came with water today so we got the kitchen cleaned up. It's still a trash apartment tho. The ceiling is falling in certain spots. The paint is getting ripped up everywhere. I'm excited to leave soon ahahahah. We have a cool area of our area down next to the lagoon. We went down there yesterday a lot and I think the field Is so white and ready to harvest down there. We're gonna start focusing there a little more and we'll pray for success! Thanksgiving was cool ahha I made mashed potatoes and gravy. It was pretty good. Here we call it foufou américain haha. I've been struggling a little this week with staying motivated. Just leaving a area that I worked with so much and saw change from a slow not progressing area to an area with so much progression. Then to get sent here to a spot where there's not much progression was kinda demotivating. It felt like I hit a reset. But hey, it's always worth it at the end once you see the change you were able to help come to pass in the area. It's crazy how willing God is to help any area progress if we have the right intention and give our genuine best effort to be obedient and work hard. Even if we're not perfect God magnifies our efforts and makes us perfect despite our imperfections. I'll have a lot more to update on this upcoming week. But know I love you all Winner of the week is going tooo: Elder Clayton! He hit me up and it's been a really long time since I've seen this guy! I miss this man so much and was grateful for his message. Enjoy the photos! Join the album for more! https://photos.app.goo.gl/9v2q3pnQVYwnSKAdA
