Emergency Evacuation & Cake?! (Week #70)

Hey everyone!! Straight into it Wednesday was so hype I had an exchange with Elder Byers it was awesome. We were having so much fun and working hard. We found 4 new people and we were working with members. Thennnnnn, they called an emergency drill! We all had to go and meet at a stake center but before we had to pack our bags. WHAAA. THEY ALSO SAID WE COULDNT TAKE TAXIS. WHAT THE. LIKE NAH. Micao is SOOO far. We take a taxi to sector everyday and they made us walk. We left at 11:40 got to out apartment at like 1 ish, had to pack a bad and then walk to the stake center. We got there at like 1:30-2. Oh my gosh we were walking fast too. It wasted so much time but hey, whatever. We finished the exchange with some awesome work and then the night we had cake for Elder Larsons birthday. SOOOO HYPEEEE. we started eating cake with our hand and rubbed cake into everyone's face. I'll throw some photos up Thursday I had an exchange with Elder Okubalu which was also super fun. He loves the people so much so we had a blast. We had lots of fun but worked hard and hit our goals. Same thing with Elder Byers. We hit our goals which were great. Elder Okubalu and I planned to have a contacting session and find three people but our contacting session got skipped because we had some weird stuff happen with appointments. Anyways, little miracle was even without the contacting session we were able to find 3 new people. We just happened to find and teach people on the way to friends houses and on the way to the church. It was very protective. We finished at a Family Home Evening with Micao 1 that was fun. Friday was cool. Fat Tie Friday soooo. We also had weekly planning so that was really good. I wasnt very motivated this week but we got it done Saturday... was hype as well!! Biggest highlight was that we had 3 baptismal interviews and all of them passed!!! We were sooooo happy for them. We've been working with them so hard and we can't wait for them to progress on the covenant path. They have such a desire. Also we saw Elder Byers because he came while his temporary companion did interviews. Also there was a GOATED sunset. That night we had a juiced appointment with this guy and we put him on date for baptism! We're planning on having 6 people on date for baptism this week. Which reminds me.. work Is going really well here still!! 18 lessons with members this week.. we're shooting for 20 next week! We also had a lot of new friends come to church and new friends taught. There's a lot of really great elect people here in Micao. I hope I stay here for a while. But hey, not my will but the will of the Lord be done THIS WEEK THERES 2 WINNERS 1) ELDER TANNER Man is a BEAST! He also has never won I guess and he definitely should've won at least 10x before but here we are. Man's a beast at home and he's been hitting me up often. I can't wait to go home and give him a BIG hug. Bisous bisous mon cœur. 2) BAILEY KEARNS I think she already won once butttt she told she's serving a mission and she just turned in her papers!! Whaaaaaa!! Thats wayyyy to hype. I was like so so excited for her. The mission is already the best experience of my life and I can't wait for it to change her life too. She's preparing really well and I have no doubt at all she's gonna kill it. Best of luck Bailey! We're so proud of you!
