Throwback Week! (Week #66)

What's up everyone. I'm starting a Google photos, no charge. (Lucky you I'm feeling really generous today) feel free to join! I'll just add photos and you'll be able to see everything I'm doing here, instead of just what I can fit in my email. https://photos.app.goo.gl/9v2q3pnQVYwnSKAdA PRESS THIS LINK^^^ (not a scam) Anyways this week was CRAZY Monday, was p day. It was hype. We had our district activity I told you all about in the last email..I covered all of Monday already Tuesday, I had a HYPE exchange with Elder Earl!! Oooo it was awesome! He's my old companion so it was fun and nostalgic. We talked a lot about the past and also about the future, seeing as how he leaves the mission in less than a couple days. I love him so much! He taught me obedience and how to really dedicate myself to the mission. I'm not saying I'm perfect, I'm far from it. But I've had times where I haven't made the right choices and I could always look back and reflect on my time with Elder earl. It gave me the example I needed to make the changes and return back to being obedient. I'm grateful for him and the opportunity I had to work with him again. Wednesday was Zone Conference and Elder Ojos birthday! Zone conference was really awesome. I learned a lot. Took a lot of notes, and learned a lot of ways id like to improve. And for Elder Ojo's Bday I got him a birthday cake and we had a good night! We also stayed the night with the Micao 1 Elders (Elder Hendrickson and Elder Larson) we stayed because they lived closer to our sector than we do so it made transport a lot cheaper. We had a good night, Elder Hendrickson can cook so we had BBQ chicken pizza. Il est fort avec la nourriture! Ooooooo la façon elle était doux! Thursday we had our exchange. Me with Elder Larson. He's a new missionary and he's in training. A fun sneak peek of what's to come. We found a really fun area in our sector that was super poor but had like hiking trails, and everything. It was just a tiny valley with tons of people inside. He's a great great missionary with an amazing drive to continue and learn. I learned a lot! Once he's got the language down he'll become so cracked. Friday was hype too. It was a normal day, the only one we had this week, we did planning and then got out and worked hard. Saturday was also super awesome. It was an exchange with another one if my old comps. Elder Tanner! This day was interesting tho, we'll split it into parts First we went to a baptismal service. It was with the Elders of Autoroute. Two girls were baptized and I was able to meet with them before so I already knew them which made it fun! The Christensen's were there as well which was a fun surprise. Afterwards we needed to go back and so they gave us a ride and we were going back, on the way they SHREDDED up two of their tires. Miracle time: we prayed together asking for help. And less than 5 seconds later. Some guy knocked on the window saying hey lemme fix your tire. He also then helped us find where to buy a second. However we were running late for the baptismal interviews so we asked for permission to do an exchange in an exchange so me and Elder hendrickson could go to the interview and Elder Tanner and Elder Larson stayed together. After all of that we viewed what could be a possible new apartment and bro it'd be so nice! Fingers crossed. Living far from area really sucks. We had a good exchange the rest of the day until the night when we couldn't contact the other companionship. Turns out they got robbed and lost the phone... yako. That was interesting to say the least. Sunday was ward conference It was awesome. Some amis we really care about came. I hope they enjoyed and felt the spirit and continue. The rest of the day rained and made rendez-vous hard. And voilà today! We went to cosmos got Burger King, I found Frank's red hot sauce again but even bigger this time. And I'm just so excited to use it. Also I got Gatorade. whaaa. Also... TRANSFER NEWS! Elder Ojo is leaving, I'm staying. I'll still be a DL which I love. That means tons of exchanges! And also..... I'm training! WOOHOOO! I'm super excited. I made something in the office and printed it out before I left. I want to use it with whoever I train. It will help us be so obedient and learn so much! The only problem is I only printed it in English... let's hope I have an English speaking comp! Winner of the week has got to go to : Elder Earl. I've already explained why, and with him leaving he deserves it more than ever. Sooo, yeah. C'est ça! Woah here's a link: https://photos.app.goo.gl/9v2q3pnQVYwnSKAdA Press to see my adventures in Ivory Coast!
