Overcoming My Fears (Week #65)

This week was good! I'm getting back to work! Got out of the hospital hallelujah! Thanks for all of your prayers Wednesday I got back out. It was hype Wednesday night we had a missionary activity and we worked with the bishop. A lot of people participated and it was great. Wednesday night after that we got emergency evacuated from our apartment because everyone kept getting sick. They happened to moved us to like the OPPOSITE part of the city. Literally we went from the very top to the very bottom. We're at niangon 5 now it's so wild. 2 hour transport at night with traffic. 1 hour in the morning. This isn't gonna work much longer so I expect us to get a change soon. Thursday we had our district Council. It was awesome and we got to go to a new spot the rest of the day was pretty mid. I'm in the same apartment as Elder Kennedy so that's hype as crap Friday I had an exchange with Elder de chacus. He's a beast. We had fun. We got out and because we don't have an apartment we just never got back for lunch or anything. So we just vibed and ate there. We had good lessons and he taught me a lot. Saturday was hype. We had 2 baptismal Interviews at 2:00, and then left to general conference. Got there a little late because our ward was pretty far. Had that and then went home and oh my gosh. Traffic was SOOO bad. Literally took like 2 1/2 hrs to get home. But the driver was smart and new shortcuts so we got to go directly through my old area! My first area! Niangon 3!! I drove past and saw marcellin I love him so much. I told the taxi driver to stop got out and just got SOO hype with him bro. I miss him and that area so much. I really can't explain many other feelings that are better than seeing an old friend. That area will always have an impact on me! Sunday general conference. Of course it was crapped. A member got us garba and I got to listen to most of all the sessions. I loved a lot of them, I really liked uchtdorfs talk. Also of course, #ThinkCelestial. That's such a cracked principle. Today I went to a serpunterium it was so so scary.. I'll send pictures. They would tap the glass and make cobras strike it and spit venom. They also had vipers pythons etc. There was a spot where they make you put a snake around your neck. It's a very very calm snake. I was the second to last to do it and the other thing that made me do it is I didn't wanna be the odd man out. Haha #FOMO. It was fine as long as I could see it's head, but the second that guy started moving and I couldn't see his head I would start literally peeing my pants. There were some very very funny reactions. Funnier than mine. The Africans reaction made me laugh so much. Anyways thats all! Winner of the week this week: Elder Hurst! He reached out to me last week about the porcupine I said I saw and told me that looked like a mongoose he had in his old sector. After comparing I can now confirm I'm pretty sure it was a mongoose. That guy is a beast I love Elder Hurst haha. Ok thats all enjoy photos

Sept 20 2023 This is how we communicate on days that aren't Carson's Pday (individual questions answered by emojis): Sept 22: C: I can call if u want today Me: Still sick? 😩 What time? My lunch is at 10:30 My day is pretty psycho before that time but if it needs to be before that we can make it work! C: That works I think I'm leaving the hospital this evening But I’m not sure *(We found out he went to the hospital Wednesday afternoon the day we did questions and emojis) Me: Shoot! You’ve been so sick for so long C: Yeah I've had an on and off fever for 2 weeks now Me: Wanna tell me what you have? Or are you loving the suspense? C: Then I had covid like 3-4 weeks ago IDK what I have… Me: They don’t know huh? High fevers. C: They said that when there's constant on and off fevers like this that means there's a problem. RM's got me in shambles (Week #97)

Hey hey hey. Welcome back! This week was cool! I worked with my new comp elder Gibson. He's a dawg. He eats sooo much which is good. It's helping me eat more!! Maybe I'll gain some pounds I already lost. I've been working out pretty much almost every day which has been awesome. Crazy that I feel like there's actually some progress even tho I'm pretty much only doing push ups. Started my plan this week... iykyk We had stake conference which was really good. Valerie and her son came!! Big things coming for them. President and Sister Litchfield dropped bars. We were happy! We'll be doing lots of exchanges this transfer. We're planning on working harddd. We set some big goals for ourselves and our zone. We'll see what we can accomplish!
