I FOUND A MONKEY (Week #62)

Hey everyone! I procrastinated this email so sadly I don't have too much time to write. But I'll get right into it. This week work wise has been so so good. We worked so hard and I was so happy. Non-stop appointments. We pretty much hit all of our objectives too. Really good week. As a district leader now i have to do district Councils and baptismal interviews. That's something I was honestly really nervous about. But they went well and now I feel pretty confident when it comes to that. I love being able to be a part of helping others come unto baptism Bullet points: • we saw a milk river... I can't explain it • I found a monkey, he tried to open my sack it was fun • I gashed my knee playing soccer. That was a yako. My pants ripped too. I gotta find someone to sow them • we had district leader training so I got to go back to the office. It was nice to see everyone I was there with • our apartment is so messed up like so crappy. But it's good we should stay at the apartment much if we're doing missionary work right. • We have a new missionary in our district his name is Elder Larson. He's from corner canyon. It's been fun talking to him about people we know at home etc. Also fun to see a new American like I was a year ago. We have good friends and a beautiful area. Sadly I got really sick Saturday and Sunday but I told myself I was a wuss and went out anyways. Well I figured out on Sunday I had a 103 fever. I'm definitely feeling the effects of my decisions today haha. I'm so wiped and feel like garbage but praying I'm back and ready tomorrow. Overall it's really been really great. I've loved the first week and i know I'll continue to love it. My companion is Elder ojo he's from Nigeria. He's cool and we don't have any problems. He's very quiet so that's kinda hard but it'll give me a lot of time to do personal reflection and focus on the sector and myself a little. Of course I'll try and open him up a little too. That's all tho!! Winner of the week: Elder Hendrickson! He made me some MAL DOUX French toast that I didn't eat because I felt too crappy. But it was nice anyways Ok here's photos

Sept 20 2023 This is how we communicate on days that aren't Carson's Pday (individual questions answered by emojis): Sept 22: C: I can call if u want today Me: Still sick? 😩 What time? My lunch is at 10:30 My day is pretty psycho before that time but if it needs to be before that we can make it work! C: That works I think I'm leaving the hospital this evening But I’m not sure *(We found out he went to the hospital Wednesday afternoon the day we did questions and emojis) Me: Shoot! You’ve been so sick for so long C: Yeah I've had an on and off fever for 2 weeks now Me: Wanna tell me what you have? Or are you loving the suspense? C: Then I had covid like 3-4 weeks ago IDK what I have… Me: They don’t know huh? High fevers. C: They said that when there's constant on and off fevers like this that means there's a problem. RM's got me in shambles (Week #97)

Hey hey hey. Welcome back! This week was cool! I worked with my new comp elder Gibson. He's a dawg. He eats sooo much which is good. It's helping me eat more!! Maybe I'll gain some pounds I already lost. I've been working out pretty much almost every day which has been awesome. Crazy that I feel like there's actually some progress even tho I'm pretty much only doing push ups. Started my plan this week... iykyk We had stake conference which was really good. Valerie and her son came!! Big things coming for them. President and Sister Litchfield dropped bars. We were happy! We'll be doing lots of exchanges this transfer. We're planning on working harddd. We set some big goals for ourselves and our zone. We'll see what we can accomplish!
