Bowlin' (Week #58)

Hey everyone, I hope you've had a good week. I've had a great one too! Thanks for asking! Ok this week we had normal stuff. pretty average week to be honest, with a few highlights. Monday we helped someone move. I got to go to my old area in koumassi and see my old friends! I love that area and those people! It was awesome! Monday was also independence day!! It was so fun. People here don't really care too much about it but I tried to make it fun. I wore my Ivory Coast jersey to the office (over my church shirt of course) and then I ate garba (ivorian food) with the flag of the Ivory Coast on my back. We also wove the flag out of the car on the way home. It was very fun. tuesday we had pizza Wednesday morning elder steanson had food poisoning. That was kinda fun, but sucked for him. We got to the office and there were interviews for niangon nord. We got to see a lot of awesome missionaries and I definitely enjoyed it! We played some fun games and then I got back to working hard. I've been grinding out a technology elder training sheet. It's about 30 pages and just completely incompasses everything we do here in this mission as technology elders. It's kind of my baby haha. I should finish it tonight so i'm happy to see the finished result Thursday there were more interviews for niangon centre, my old zone. It was awesome again. great missionaries. Friday was just a cleaning day, computer cleaning, desk cleaning, office cleaning, organizing all of it. Today we had a baptism in the ward. It was so awesome. The ward here in Andokoi is really strong and the spirit was definitely there. Also the christensens came! so that was great! we were able to go bowling at abidjan mall right next to our house. it was better than i expected african bowling lanes to be. I did terribly. But that's besides the point. that leads us to now! I know that Heavenly Father lives. I saw one of my friends say something I really loved. They said whenever they have any quiet time they just catch up with the Lord and tell him all the little things. even the weird things they don't think matter too much. they ask for advice and eventually it becomes normal. Through doing that we can really master letting the Lord into the details. I know the Lord is watching us. He's reaching out to us and he's just waiting for us to accept His hand. Reach out to him! ohhhh, winner of the week don't think i forgot. This week is: Ethan Hart! I just added what I assume is his new missionary email, because he's officially a missionary! He's in Ghana right now, as I was a year ago today! He'll be in the Ivory Coast with me soon! I'm super excited for him and his experiences he'll have here. This country is so blessed. The work here is moving so well. He's here during an essential point in time for this country. Super proud of him! Alsoooo he's bringing me a few things from my mom haha. So i gotta give him some slack for that as well. that's all. God loves you!! and i love you all so much!
