Spider-Man (Week #48)

Guys, I heard spiderman across the spiderverse is sooooo good. I want to watch it so bad. I'm so jealous of all of you who have the wonderful opportunity to watch that movie right now. But luckily, my boys are out serving missions right now too so knowing i'll come back and we can watch it all together is getting me through it. This spider-man movie is making me homesick! (just a little tho, don't worry) but i'll just focus up and forget about it in a few days, easy work. This week was good, don't remember a ton tho. Started off w/ monday, don't remember anything that happened except for the fact that we had a memorial day dinner. that was lit. i had a hamburger. tuesday was cool as well. We had district council so we all took some photos Wednesday we went to the strattons to help with computer problems, they gave us some food while we were there. it was super nice of them. the strattons are the temple construction senior couple of this mission. That same night elder merril had come to abidjan with his comp to get a patriarchal blessing but he came down with malaria really bad and couldnt go back on the bus to the village so he stayed the night with us, which happened to be super unlucky because that was the one night since i've been in this apartment, that we haven't had working ac. so he was sweating up a storm. yako. woke up the next morning got him on a bus and went to the office. got there a little late cause we had to drop him off but no big deal. I think MLC was that day so i got to see tons of friends . there was really bad rain that day too so that caused some problems. The traffic was so so so bad because aparently a garbage truck fell on its side in the middle of the freeway. so yeah, horrible traffic. i got taxis for people at like 3-4 that didnt get back until 8-9... yako yesterday i got to spend the morning with elder cavé! He was my temporary companion because his comp was doing some activities for missionaries going home soon. But we all got some ice cream so that was lit. Also one day this week cavé was eating ice cream and there was glass in it and it cut open his tongue! Yakooo. But overall it was lit. Elder Cavé is awesome so it's great spending some time with him. Spent the night at vridi due to some special circumstances trying to solve an issue and then got home around 11-11:30. It was very exhausting. I put on my Nike Hoodie Nike sweats, had 2 fans blowing on me, and ac and slept so amazing. I even had 2 sheets and still didn't get warm. It was awesome, hard work pays off. That's all folks! Winner of the week time! Ok... winner of the week this week isss.....ZACH CLOUGH!!! He send me emails all the time! He deserves winner! First I'd like to apologize for not answering them hahah, I really suck at responding to email. Gmail is hard for me. But.... I read them all! And he always says just the right things I need! Wether it's a little pick me up or just a funny line he said, I always leave those emails smiling so thank you! And yes, the Mark Wahlberg picture last week was for you! Thanks Zach! You're the best and I can't wait to see ya again in 13 months! Happy early birthday to papa!! The big 70!!! I thought it was 50 but granny corrected me! Also I kinda mentioned it above but yeah 11 months in 3 days, which is so crazy. Almost at a year, but really ill probably finish my mission in June just due to how transfers line up so I'm pretty close to my real half way mark! I feel like I've been here for definitely under 6 months. Crazy stuff. Crazy! So crazy! Shoutout to anyone getting their mission calls or serving missions soon. You're making the right choice!! Also thanks elder Palmer for giving me more motivation to grind the new testament, I kept starting but stopping. Now I'm on hustle mode! Thanks I miss spider-man:( And taco bell hahahah But I bet yall don't have doudous pizza.jokes on you! Yuh photo time!
