CAR CONTACTING FOR THE WIN (Week #50)

Hey everyone, hope you're doing well. if not, yako. lemme know so i can pray for you. that's all i can really do haha. This week was HECTIC we had zone conference with elder gong so that was awesome we got to go on temple grounds, also awesome. I got to see a ton of amazing people. I started trying to learn ewe, (so hard) I ate a poptart I bought hot sauce, it tastes good! I ate sourpatch watermelons WHAAA we had pain chien (dog bread) don't worry it's not really dog.... i think. ' the gambia elders were over so we played a lot of games with them ELDER BRYANT GOT ME A MONSTER AND WHAT IT WAS SO GOOD. my old favorite flavor used to be "ultra gold" it was kinda pineapple ish and he said his was the same thing. but now this is his new favorite and let me say i support him. ITS SO GOOD. I lost my glasses, still on the search I lost my keys, FOUND EM' I fixed most of the technology problems so that's lit I bought a candle 2 actually. we got a new apartment (hallelujah) we'll move in july 1st We had district council, ngl it was pretty bad, there was a lot of chastisenet i did not agree with but hey, ca va aller we cleaned the apartment again, due to the mess the gambia elders left (love yall anyways) we played mancala, chess, checkers, settlers of catan, and mao. we only played settlers of catan once dont worry but we did it in the pitch dark with only candle light. it was lit I thought it was really cool when elder gong explained to us that we fuffill prophecy every day. that was awesome. Here in cote d'ivoire serving the Lord is literally me fuffilling prophecy, God is on our side. found a few rats in our apartment. that was wild. Highlight of the Week: CAR CONTACTING. SO EFFICENT, EFFICACE. we would just roll down the window and contact. which helps us with a TON of things. first, we don't waste time in random conversations, the cars gotta move when the cars gotta move. also people just think it's funny so they're more willing ot hear our message. and it makes us feel like we're still doing missionary work while driving. I love it and i was smilling the entire time. perfect example of doing the Lords work bringing joy WINNER OF THE WEEK: Elder Jardine!, lol not gonna lie, he didn't even say anything abou me, he just hopped on the mouton train and started talking about how all the sheep are coming to overtake us. I don't even know how this deserves a shoutout but I appreciate the sheep comments. Shows that he reads my emails and that he payed attention ahha. Sorry for just the bullet list type email but i hope you enjoyed. wasn't feeling like diving into depths of how it all happen. just know it happened.. LOVE YOU ALL!! ENJOY PHOTOS

Sept 20 2023 This is how we communicate on days that aren't Carson's Pday (individual questions answered by emojis): Sept 22: C: I can call if u want today Me: Still sick? 😩 What time? My lunch is at 10:30 My day is pretty psycho before that time but if it needs to be before that we can make it work! C: That works I think I'm leaving the hospital this evening But I’m not sure *(We found out he went to the hospital Wednesday afternoon the day we did questions and emojis) Me: Shoot! You’ve been so sick for so long C: Yeah I've had an on and off fever for 2 weeks now Me: Wanna tell me what you have? Or are you loving the suspense? C: Then I had covid like 3-4 weeks ago IDK what I have… Me: They don’t know huh? High fevers. C: They said that when there's constant on and off fevers like this that means there's a problem. But they did the tests and I don't have dengue I don't have malaria I don't have typhoid or anything like that...

RM's got me in shambles (Week #97)

Hey hey hey. Welcome back! This week was cool! I worked with my new comp elder Gibson. He's a dawg. He eats sooo much which is good. It's helping me eat more!! Maybe I'll gain some pounds I already lost. I've been working out pretty much almost every day which has been awesome. Crazy that I feel like there's actually some progress even tho I'm pretty much only doing push ups. Started my plan this week... iykyk We had stake conference which was really good. Valerie and her son came!! Big things coming for them. President and Sister Litchfield dropped bars. We were happy! We'll be doing lots of exchanges this transfer. We're planning on working harddd. We set some big goals for ourselves and our zone. We'll see what we can accomplish!
