Dreams Really DO Come True! (Week #36/37)

What's up ladies and gentleman, welcome back, im so so sorry you had to suffer through a week of no email from me but dont worry, im here to save you all from the depths of doubt, im here. Back with another email. Officially now on saturdays. Itll be saturdays for a while now so get used to it. To start, we have to talk about my last week in koumassi, we cooked a lot, worked a lot, messed around a lot, and made some amazing relationships on the way. It was really awesome being able to create such great relationships with so many people after just 2 weeks of being there. They were relationships that usually take at least a transfer to make but happened in a third of the time. Really, koumassi will hold a special place in my heart. The ward is sooooo strong, and the friends of the church are so open, its so great, i really do feel like i made an impact on that place and thats my goal. To make an impact at every area i go to, and even with the trial of doing that in two weeks, i can confidently say i feel as if i did great. Anyways, goodbyes were hard, they always are. Its really hard to just give these amazing people so much of yourself only to leave them. Maybe not forever tho ?(foreshadowing) Cool things that happened I got two bracelets I got my hair done Took tons of pictures (your welcome) Recieved transfer calls, (ill get to that) Watched a review at a friends house of liverpool beating manchester united 7-0 😇 I drew a beautiful mountain with an expo marker And destroyed elder tanner in yahtzee Ok so we recieved transfer news, im leaving (as we knew already) to return to the office after filling a temporary replacement. Tanners new comp is named elder arthur from ghana. Hes seriously so so awesome. His french is insane, hes been here for 4 months i dont know how. Anyways. That was fun. That leaves us with sunday. We were walking and we got picked up by some members on the way, hallelujah, and went to church, i gave a goodbye talk/testimony. Usually when i get to the pulpit its to call the ward to action to help the missionaries because we need it. But this ward is seriously so so good, we worked with members everyday, we couldnt of had more help, so instead, i just gave a quick bit about faith, then talked about how much i loved them. They're seriously the best. It was a sad goodbye, that come with lots of photos again(you're welcome) After i packed ( packing SUCKSSSS) i left back to the office! So im officially back full time doing the lords work from the office ! Ok now i dont remember a lot from this week so bare with me. The best news comes at the end. Please read the last few paragraphs if anything haha. Update:after thinking for 5 minutes i still hardly remember anything I drove for the first time to the office. That was sickkkk We ate chocolate cake, also sick Some senegal elders were here so we got to chat with them, sickkkk Besides that i got nothing ooo ooo i got something, last night we went to the senior couples house and they cooked for us. We ate some delicious pasta and had chocolate cake. It was yummyyyy. Felt like home. We even used an instant pot. Then watched some videos and almost had a drum circle, it was sick TODAY Today was a GREAT day! To start, elder tanner and elder arthur got permission to change their p days to Saturday that was a great start. Then their ward held a ward activity at a sporting complex so i got to go, it was so fun, i got to see members of my old ward and it was soooo awesome. I love them. We played soccer but heres the twist I PLAYED SPIKEBALL TODAY WHAAA I loved it so so much i was so happy, i cant wait to play on grass again, sadly it was gravel today, but we plan on playing on the beach soon 😈 that'll be done soon trust me. Then we went to the african market, and i mad haggled some guys Funny story, i was trying to buy a family of wood carved ducks and this guy would not budge. I told him id buy them for 4.000 cfa (7ish dollars) no more. He would not change at alllll it was tough! So i kept buttering him up helping him out, and then finally i pulled out the big guns. I said you know what. My name is elder ducker, duck means conard, (duck in french) im not getting this for myself, im doing it for my family name, for my mom, my dad my brother, my sister. For them. For family. Cmon dude let me get these for my family. Then i showed it to him in google translate. Lets just say i walked out of there with the ducks. Anyways Winner of the week! The winner of the week this week isssss..... NATE ATHAY WOOHOOO! HE SHOULDVE WON 7 WEEKS AGO IM SO SORRY. he texts me every week, in fact, he texts me more than any single person.
