Bon appétit (Week #35)

Ok everyone, sorry i sent an email out half way through the week, i usually type out notes in drafts for my email but i pressed send oops. Forgive me haha. Anyways on to the email Cooking!: Ok were gonna start with my cooking adventures, it was INSANE, this week we made Breakfast Burritos Normal Burritos Hash browns Brownies Guacamole German pancakes Steak/Mashed Potatoes Alfredo Potato pasta Pollo Casado (my favorite meal) Baked Potato's Gourmet Ramen All in one week too To make it even funnier i never ever cooked before this so i just decided to pop off i guess. Of course ill add pictures itd be rude if i didnt ! Member Work and Sad News: Ok also we worked with members sooooo much this week! This ward is soooo great. I love this area and this ward so much. Its actually gonna be pretty hard to leave. I know itll only be two weeks but thats just enough time to form good relationships with people and then its just getting chopped and its possible i never come back to this area and never see these people again. Which would suck! but im looking on the brightside and not taking a second for granted. Im trying to really put my all into this place and have the biggest impact i can after 2 weeks. Its going great so far Apostasy: For most of you, the apostasy is when the gospel and truth was lost from the earth. Well for us the Apostasy means we have absolutely no money and we are in a "Money Apostasy" dont worry, we should be fine, i hope Got my nails done: Some maman did our nails, it was an awesome experience, not an awesome job haha, they were pretty bad but she was happy haha. Im taking a girl to america: We were teaching a mom and she had this adorable autistic daughter. we were talking about going to america and then i gave her my hand and the little girl shook her head no. Then her mom said what, you dont want to go to america? Then i said you gotta hold my hand if you wanna go to america, and she reacted so fast, not a sliver of hesitation Im taking her home now in 2024. Area Information: We went to an awesome area of our sector that we have to take a boat to get to. Its super cool over there and LOADED with members Visiting Another Church: We went to an evangelist church. It was a really really awesome experience, there was some weird stuff but i really can appreciate people getting together and singing/praising god. Its not my personal beliefs but im happy they recognize the importance of god. Quick List of Miracles: Miracles this week, -I fasted for Sister Marie and she came to church the next morning after telling us she couldnt! -our last blender had a crack in it and sister morris brought a new one for us! Just in time to make pollo casado too! -we were going to go to the evangelist church with eunice's mom but she was busy so she fed us then gave us to one of her other friends to go to church instead! The new person was super interested in our church and had a cousin uncle and aunt who came to our church, she asked when she could come! Sister and Elder Morris stopped by and gave us a ton of super useful stuff and inspected our apartment. They also gave a super great spiritual thought. I love them and they invited the spirit super strongly to the home. Also its elder tanners birthday today woohooooo! He's a old guy now yako Im focusing on bible study a lot and its going well, i love learning abt jesus christ Winner of the Week! This week itssss Bailey Kearns! Really this is anyones game! She texted me the last two p days and she was wondering where her winner of the week was, well its right here! She's super cool and we've been friends for a decent chunk of time. Some of my best memories are when we were together and im grateful for the impact she's had on my life. Also i am totally off track on whos won and not, i tried to go back and see whos won but i got lost, if you want winner if the week text me and say you want it and its yours, some of you have already learned that, also most of yoy probably dont care. But keep making it easy for me I have a lot of good pictures from this week enough that i think I'll need to make two emails. So have fun with that. A lot of it is food haha.
