Mario Kart & NBA Youngboy? (Week #30/31)

I would like to start with a special shoutout to NBA Youngboy who is going to be baptized in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The missionaries did door to door contacting and he wanted to change his life for the better so hey that's amazing. He even quoted a verse in his latest song. Alma 36:18 I believe. Made my week. Funniest thing I've read in so long, it was so great. never in a million years would I have expected that. I'll leave an article at the end for proof because to be honest I didn't believe it until I saw the article from deseret news haha.

This will be long because I wasn't able to email on monday so I will be covering two weeks of information .... "if ye love me, read my emails"

PART 1) Last district council of the transfer
Ok so first it was the last week of the transfer so we had the last district council with each other, it was awesome. They were great. I loved my district. The elders and sisters were so fun. I'll miss them!

I had 2 exchanges this week, i'll go quickly into both of them.

1 Elder hunt
He was great. I love working with him. it was our last time together (we assumed because we had both been there for 4 transfers) (and we recieved the news that he was going to senegal) so that was great. We messed around a bit haha. we messed with this one girl a lot and kept teaching her english slang but really saying something sus in english. It was funny. we told her, americans are hot means how are you. it was great, we also bought pagne. its lit'

Also with Nsiloulou, i dont remember much it was a while ago. we had ac tho hallelujah

This same week sister litchfield the presidents wife called me and gave us transfer news early, it was a fun surprise

she said..... I'm becoming an office elder!
She told me early because i need to work on getting an international drivers license so i can drive the mission office car. Me and the office elder all share a car and when i recieve my license i'll be on the roads. Y'all better watch out.

For those of you who dont know the roads here are insane. It's like mario kart IRL no rules just driving. Red Lights are a suggestion lol.

So with this early crazy news i started my goodbyes a little early haha. I started saynig goodbye to all the amazing people i've spent the last 6 months with and i was ready to recieve the change.

we had a combined baptism with sister lydie from a member family and it was awesome. I've been teaching her for 3 transfers and at first she was scared of us and would hide when the missionaries came around and now, she welcoes us with open arms, it's amazing. it was a great day and a great experience, i was told to prepare a talk on the spirit it was going to be great, until they started singing the closing hymn and forgot about and talks. aye c'est la vie

That night we went back to her place along with other people and the clouds were insaneeee. I'll send them

Transfer News so we recieved the official call on satuday and im leaving to the marcory sector and im living in the abidjan east mission because it's close to the airport.  so that's been great, i've been to the airport like 4 times.

So now we get to work half time in sector and half time in the office if possible. so that's great, im not totally outside of the loop when it comes to sector

Also in sector we have a Giant Maggi market which is insane, i will take photos and send that one day but it's so big i'm worried im going to spend so much money here

Also there are unlimited Jerseys  here its insane, that's another problem for me.  money wise

ALSO there is unlimited pagne here, that's another issue. I might spend tons of money, yako

Also the giant african market is in our mission so another temptation. yako for college funds

I already bought a african shirt, an African mask and I found Frank's red hot sauce

in other news outside of money, we have ac and hot water now! the hot water is great and the ac is pretty weak but if we clean the filter out itll be nice nice.

So as the office elders one of our responsibilities is to pick up the Elders from the airport, every 90 days missionaries have to come back from senegal so they can renew their visa. so we had like 5 or 6  elders coming back to live with us for a couple nights, elder Knoll was one of them, he's my mt so that was awesome. it was hectic, i got tons of sleep wink wink

There's a Burger King in the airport!! we went to the airport a bunch, woohoooo! let's goo. i ate good good.

We have a new ward building and someone living inside so that's crazy.

We have been very busy with office work because it's a beginning of a new transfer and it's a little rough because i dont know what i'm doing yet. whatever.

Winner of the Week: soooo, this week goes toooo Mac Rowland! for multiple reasons, first, i didnt know who to give it to but i remembered i won his first winner of the week, so feels only right he gets an early win aswell, also this guys a district leader and a trainer in a new area, now, also a mini shoutout, to luke beers because he's also a district leader in his new area, and hes training, dont worry you can get a more official shoutout later but this week is gonna go to the man the myth the legend, mac rowland thanks for everything cant wait to vibe it up with you in college bro. love u

Well, that's all!! Love you guys and sorry for the long email, i was a little distracted during all of it, so I hope I didnt miss any information,  cockroaches are gone hallelujah! That's all love you, I dont have enough space for all the pictures but I'll send a second email. Miss you all I hope Saturday is your new favorite day of the week because it's my new p day!
