African Weddings & 8 Ball(Week #32)

I was low on money this week but god blessed me with tons of free food. So im chillinnnn Tuesday we had a the whole zone meetup at district council so i got to see a lot of missionaries, including kesterson my MT(Someone who came with me from the MTC). That was lit. Wednesday was super busy but we got tons done, finished it off with a cheeseburger fries and a pool game. Thursday checked out this crazy big market. It was insane, it was also elder mccurdys birthday so we ate sugar, he was on a sugar fast, also we had a nice family home evening, they fed us. Friday was a great day we got a lot done in the office until there was an explosion lol. We finished off the night at another family home evening, they fed us again hallelujah. Saturday (today) was insane. We went to a traditional african wedding ceremony! It was so cool. They played loud music all that stuff, brought out live chickens, drums, and amazing good. It was awesome. The story is so cool too, so this guys name is Derrek, he's a black guy from georgia. He served a mission in Côte d'Ivoire and baptized a girl his age, then went back to georgia got married, got a divorce and then somehow got in contact with this shawty he baptized in africa who lived in canada at the time. They met up and got married in the temple and then got married in a traditional wedding ceremony in Côte d'Ivoire so he came back to the country he served his mission. Anyways, winner of the week time. The winner of the week this week issss... TESSA DUCKER my sister! She wins because she told me she wants to be winner of the week. Thats all. Anyways thank you all for reading my email thi... Kidding kidding, she wins for tons of reasons not just that haha. She also messaged me during the week so props to her. Love her. Shes very cool. She has this secret boyfriend but she doesnt tell anyone but me so that just shows how much she trusts me. Its awesome. We get along pretty well even tho she didnt like me at home she likes me now 😎. Jkjk she always loved me she just didnt know it. Anyways thanks for being cool. Ur pretty lit. Thanks for everything youve taught me slime. Keep ballin up. See ya in 17 months! Sept 20 2023 This is how we communicate on days that aren't Carson's Pday (individual questions answered by emojis): Sept 22: C: I can call if u want today Me: Still sick? 😩 What time? My lunch is at 10:30 My day is pretty psycho before that time but if it needs to be before that we can make it work! C: That works I think I'm leaving the hospital this evening But I’m not sure *(We found out he went to the hospital Wednesday afternoon the day we did questions and emojis) Me: Shoot! You’ve been so sick for so long C: Yeah I've had an on and off fever for 2 weeks now Me: Wanna tell me what you have? Or are you loving the suspense? RM's got me in shambles (Week #97)

Hey hey hey. Welcome back! This week was cool! I worked with my new comp elder Gibson. He's a dawg. He eats sooo much which is good. It's helping me eat more!! Maybe I'll gain some pounds I already lost. I've been working out pretty much almost every day which has been awesome. Crazy that I feel like there's actually some progress even tho I'm pretty much only doing push ups. Started my plan this week... iykyk We had stake conference which was really good. Valerie and her son came!! Big things coming for them. President and Sister Litchfield dropped bars. We were happy! We'll be doing lots of exchanges this transfer. We're planning on working harddd. We set some big goals for ourselves and our zone. We'll see what we can accomplish!
