0% Sleep 100% Music (Week #28)

Ok 28 weeks thats a lot of weeks, that's 7 weeks 4 times(shoutout elder rowland, we're pretty much veterans by now) time goes by so so fast but so slow. I feel like i just got here, but also, everything before the mission feels like years ago. It's still summer but somehow i've been here as long as i can remember. Wild. Anyways, my week, lets talk about that! (que the good mythical morning music)

So at the beginning of the week we had interviews with president, i love president, we also have transfers in 2 weeks, will i stay will i go, i dont know, probably go but never say never. 

The next day we went to the stake center to do baptisimal interviews for a couple kids, but before the elders got there we played soccer with like 20 kids. it was awesome, then the elders show up, you'd think we'd go do the interview, but nope. The kid getting interviewed came and started playing then the other two started. Finally after the tie 1-1 we had penalties and penalties here is really just step back 20 feet and shoot because the goals are a foot long. So it's just testing your accuracy, i scored, now i am "white messi" they just say ahhhhh le messi blanc! Messi est Blanc! We walked away happy haha.

My pull-up bar works now.(shoutout elder merrill, who isnt on my email list but shoutout anyways) 

woohoo we found a way to mount it, that means i have less of an excuse to not workout, speaking of working out!

I've been doing 10 minutes of jump ropes a day(shoutout elder palmer), jump rope is hard, but its good for me so i do it.  i need to do more pullups, im just working on getting motivated right now haha.

I bought a ton of ties ill attach a photo, one of them is a creeper minecraft tie( shoutout elder hendrickson im pretty sure he submitted that) theyre drip

I bought a new liverpool shirt #YNWA

we have a cockroach problem as you all know so we started throwing cockroaches up in the spiders web in our kitchen so that the spider can eat well. so now we have floating cockroached in our corner. 

Today we got a taxi ride for FREE because god is good and the guy appreciated that we worked for jesus christ. Love it. Cote d'Ivoire is the best country, everyone loves god, everyone believes in jesus, it's better that way

One night during elder earls virtual funeral (please continue to pray for him, the prayers are working) but during the funeral i wanted to leave him alone so i had to find a lot to do, i studied, did some language study but i still had over an hour to spare, so i cleaned! a lot! i made my bed deep cleaned my bathroom my dresser the floors, my suitcases, a lot. It was awesome

We have a guy who follows us around a lot now, he's 15 and has got some mental issues, i dont know how to nicely tell him to stop, trust us we've tried, we'll see, but that same day we were walking down the road and we were stopped by two gospel music artists who wanted to sing to us, it was awesomeeeee. they were basically saying there is no one like jesus he is the only perfect person. bars. one guy infact brought a giant drum over, i will buy an african drum, just wait. but, along the topic of music....

worst night of my lifffeeeee, they were setting a tent out front, we asked what was up, they said a party, ok we've had partys just outside our apartment before, no big deal! yes. Yes, big deal, they started at 9pm and went until 6am, the music was so loud it was literally vibrating my bed, i could feel my heart vibrate from the bass. We were on the second floor!! wow it was horrible, i would fall asleep and wake up 2 minutes later to my suitcase shaking into the wall or the curtain rod going ham, or i would wake up to my bed just going crazy, then we had 8 am church and had to get up at 6, lets just say that day was hard. Elder Earl has been here for about 15 months i think and he said it was by far the worst one he has heard. it was very bad

ok so i still gotta do winner of the week, although i dont really wanna cause i've written a lot already. anyways, the winner this week issss Melissa Ducker! my mom!

she's the best and she gives me tons of updates and sends me messages all the time, plus, shes my momma. She gave birth to me she had to win it soon. She's the best and she's helping me a ton from home, you'd think itd be easy for her not having to deal with her son for two years blah blah but she's stlil doing so so so much. Thanks mama. Also shes very funny thats great. she's super loving and i remember from a very very young age feeling especially blessed because i had the best mom, no shade to all the other moms out there, but she's the best. She helped me so so so much for preparing for a mission holyyy. life is so much easier now thanks to her. thanks for raising me mom, hope i didnt let ya down too much ;)
