BREAKING NEWS: African Barbers Attempt Cutting a White Mans Hair (Week #13)

This Email is going to be shorter cause I don't remember a lot that happened

So we have a goal to teach 7 new people a week and this week I wanted to make sure that we for sure hit it. We were studying how we can do that and we had some appointments with new people set, the first one was with a girl named ella who moved from koumassi. She was cool and as we started teaching her. two of her friends came and said they wanted to hear too, so we got her and two other girls all involved and started the day off with 3 new people, nice! The same day right after that we tried to meet with a guy named Prince Carter. He's a rapper, i'll leave it at that. We went to his house to teach him and just like the last 5 times we tried, he wasn't there, however, his mom was, and she wanted to hear from us. She brought us in and she seemed really interested, her son joined, not prince carter, and we had a really good lesson going! They kept asking questions and seemed interested, then after a long lesson as we were about to leave, the legend prince carter himself showed up, so we were able to teach him, his mom, his brother all within a shorter span of time.  So 6 people in one day, we ended up passing our planned 7 for the week pretty quickly and we were feeling really good about ourself until some missionaries on the mission group chat posted a screenshot of the 24 new people they taught in 5 days haha. Still feel proud of our work and i'm hopeful these new people will workout but dang they're on a different kind of grind.

Um I got a haircut this week. No need for compliments i already know it looks great, i'll leave a picture but overall 10/10, the barbers here must have a lot of practice with white guys cause he was super natural with it! It was horrible, luckily, im in africa so who cares.

We Met with the only other white guy in abidjan, the guys been all over the world and he's staying in yopugon because it's cheaper here than france. and the rich areas of abidjan were too boring so he came to a more poor side. Mans a beast, were teaching him, in english, but when he speaks french its awesome too because he has a good accent so i can understand him better haha.

General conference was awesome, all that i could understand at least. The first session had captions, which were clutch. The next we watched in english,, and after that audio and captions were in and out so reallly didnt get a crazy crazy amount but i cant wait to rewatch them becausue the talks i did understand were all really really good.
I really liked Russell M Ballards talk, we're modern day pioneers and the same way were proud of our ancestors we should do things today that would make our future posterity proud
I also liked Gerrit W Gongs talk as well, although it had choppy audio it is definitely a good one. It focused a lot on christ and making him the center of our focus and becoming alive in christ.
We got to watch conference with all three of our current baptisimal canidates so that was really awesome. We took a bunch of pictures with people after conference sadly, i forgot to ask for any of them so maybe next week ill attach them haha.
Besides that i dont think much has happened except for the fact that we have pancake mix so that's a big deal.
Anyways that's all love you all.

1-2 soeur comfort wanted pictures of us so she took these
